Newtown Congregational Preschool

Welcome!
Newtown Congregational Preschool is located in Newtown, Connecticut, just
above the historic flagpole.

Our purpose is to provide an opportunity for the child to associate with peers,
learn to share, make friends, respond to necessary simple routine, and relate to
adults outside the family. Our program is based on the framework and
benchmarks developed by the Connecticut State Department of Education. The
curriculum is arranged to meet the individual child's physical, emotional, and
intellectual needs through language arts, natural science, arts and crafts, music,
math readiness, and outdoor play. Miss Helen, from the Suzuki Music School,
provides our music appreciation.

In the four year old classes, proper attention is given to learning concepts in
preparation for kindergarten.

All parents are always welcome
to participate in the classroom.
For those of you who want to
make an additional co-op
commitment, a tuition
discount is available.
